Eddy Current Applications
Eddy current sensors are non-contact displacement measuring
devices using the eddy current principle. In short, a linear electrical
signal proportional to the distance of the target from the sensor is produced.
These rugged sensors are ideal for a variety of applications, including:
 | Steel & Aluminum Industry:
 | Process Monitoring
 | Bearing oscillation, stroke, axial shaft
oscillation |
 | Displacement, distance position, air gap |
 | Liquid level measurement - Aluminum

General Industry:
 | Deflection,
Deformation, Waviness, Tilt |
 | Displacement, Distance, Position, Elongation |
 | Vibration, Amplitude, Clearance |
|
 | Process Quality Assurance:
 | Dimensions, Measuring Tolerances |
 | Sorting, Part Recognition |
